“We'll deliver
it in thirty minutes or less, or it's free!”

Today I went to
my card game thing and much fun was had. Tomorrow is Easter and with
that comes a family gathering and I think much fun will also be had.
Games of many sorts can be fun, but talking with family and seeing
their smiling faces are a different kind of joy altogether. Anyway
onto the flash fiction!
The Bunny
And The Pirate
Captain Stone
spent years first finding maps then following maps to eventually find
the bunny's hideout. He didn't expect to find this kind of
resistance. He thanked the stars that guided him across the seas that
he always carried his blade as the bunny was armed itself. A long
duel kept going on for a length of time that the adrenaline running
through Captain Stone's body distorted into an seemingly infinite
amount of time. The bunny's zombie guards made of magic and the flesh
of creatures of various kinds kept his crew busy defending their own
lives.
Eventually
Captain Stone fell to his knees and the small bunny, somehow holding
a full-sized sword in hand, placed it's blade at his neck. Some kind
of magic allowed it manipulate the blade with the strength of ten, or
even a hundred men. And then magic allowed it speak.
“Captain, it
is in your best interest to leave. You are not the first to try to
get the Jar of Infinite Eggs. I need to hide the eggs for Easter
soon, so if you don't leave this situation may become even worse for
you.” The look in the bunny's eyes burned into the pirate captain's
heart with murderous intent. This is one treasure he would not get.
He left quickly and the bunny readied itself for its yearly work.
