Today CJ should
be coming over so yay! Anyway onto the flash fiction!
But I Don't
Feel Like Mass Genocide
The secret
military scientists gathered around pod holding an android. Most of
the scientists were mad scientists and the other roped in by promises
of wealth and fame. Behind the scientists stood decorated generals.
Leaders of the Canadian Empire, the largest military in the world.
That, after conquering the United States in 2100 wanted to extend its
power further.
One of the mad
scientists laughed, “Now the android will activate and our enemies
will be no more!”
The pod open,
and a very human-like android emerged. Synthetic brown hair and brown
eyes. All his body parts mechanical and synthetic. The materials
looked so real he would blend in with humanity with little effort.
His weaponry
was his, to put it simply, power-core, filled with rare materials
nuclear and otherwise that could release power where he pleased and
how he pleased. The force he released could be used to cancel out
things threatening to hurt him, like the impact of a bullet, or shock
of an explosion. Or he could release the energy to decimate cities.
They gave him that much power and with his ability to cancel out
those forces threatening to damage him they classified him as the
next super weapon above nuclear bombs. Invincible and infinitely
destructive. They invested that much energy into his power core for
him to use.
The android
awoke, “Sup?”
“Sup?” the
general looked at the scientists questioningly. “Dr. Daniels was
this a planned greeting?” Daniels was the one who awoke the android
and easily the maddest of the scientists, the most fame starved, and
the most invested in the war machine.
“Certainly,
now Canadian Hammer your first target will be Hon Kong, complete
annihilation.”
The robot
turned and looked Dr. Daniels in the eyes. “Okay, first off,
Canadian Hammer is a stupid name for a super weapon. You're not
calling me that ever again. You're calling me awesomesauce36.”
Dr. Daniels
stuttered. “W-what is awesomesauce36? What does that even mean?”
“That's my
user name. You hooked me up to the Internet while I slumbered to
learn things and I started socializing around the net. I got a lot of
user names, but that's from my most active gaming account.”
One of the
generals grumbled, “We gave you all a lot of money, and the rarest,
if not unique power sources on the planet, and this is what you give
us?”
The android
laughed. “Yeah sorry about that general, but I'm not going to be
destroying Hon Kong. Got too many gamer buddies there. Being a super
machine I can handle lots of accounts simultaneously so I got lots of
buddies all over the world.”
“But we
programmed you to be loyal to the Empire!” the scientist yelled.
“Yeah, but
that didn't say anything about you. As soon as the atlas starts
giving me orders I'll start following them. Anyway awesomesauce36
out!”
The android
walked out of the building, easily stopping any security that stood
in his way with the very powers that his developers gave him.
